I contracted them to replace two sinks in my bathrooms. They were installed incorrectly causing a slow leek that damaged my bathroom and my floors. I have to have my floors replaced and the entire bathroom renovated. I gave them an opportunity to come to my home and give me an estimate for the repairs and to refund the $500. They left stating that they would contact me with an estimate. I left them a message and have not heard from them for over week. Do not use their services. They do not stand by their workmanship.

They charge more than their competition for work from "employee" who do not have the tools or experience of the level you are paying for. They misaligned my garage and they left unsealed gaps in the exterior of my home that I had to have fixed. Their contractor measured the length of a 16.5 foot board wrong and had the wrong size delivered that later had to be returned (which he got refunded for the wrong price) and then the entire job had to wait a week for a new board to be delivered after they had already removed wood from the exterior of my house.

I've hired craftsmen from the Handyman Company several times. They are dependable and knowledgeable. It makes it easy for someone new to the area.

Do yourself a favor and pick a different company. The handy man group came out and did a bathroom remodel for my guest bathroom. From the start the tech was very unprofessional, even brought his girlfriend to sit in the driveway in his car while he worked. This guy spent half the day working, then left for a “lunch break” and didn’t come back for like 4 hours just to tell me he would have to come back out for another day. Long story short he complained the whole time, and after two weeks the bathtub cracked. We had a field manager come out to check and the tub was installed wrong, and had to be redone. Second fix, super nice guy but he also spent the whole time complaining about the company and how badly they pay their employees. A week later, the shower doesn’t work again. I had to call every day for two weeks to have someone come out and eventually fix my shower for the third time…… save yourself some $$ and check angies list.

This is my third time using The Handyman Company, twice at my home and once at my business. Three different handymen and all three on-time, professional and completed the work in a skilled manner. Will definitely use them again without hesitation.

My mother needed some work done at her home. We were very pleased with Rafael who performed the work. He was professional, conscientious and polite. Would definitely use him again.

We used The Handyman Company for a bathroom remodel. They were responsive and priced fairly. it got better when the craftsman they sent, Jack Willis ,was used to complete our project. Jack's work was excellent, he was timely and kept the construction site clean and always considered our needs and preferences. We are planning another bathroom remodel and will no doubt use The Handyman Company and will request Jack. We couldn't be happier with our overall experience and the quality.

I was supposed to get a call from the contractor when he was on his way for my 11am appt to get a quote. Never got a call and he was a no show. I called the office to let them know and they either lied to me or the contractor lied to them because I was told that they can see in the system that he left me 2 messages and showed up. WFT?!

I don't even know how to describe my experience. They send a Field "Manager" to quote my project, I agree to the quote and say lets do this. A week later they call me to ask if I got the quote? I said yes and I approved it, and they said they didn't get that info and schedule me for Monday morning. Monday, they call to say they won't make it on time and give me a later time. Call again to say they can't make that time and will need to reschedule. Reschedule me for Wednesday. Call me now on Tuesday and say they need to cancel the project saying due to the "height of my fascia repairs." Fascia is normally on a roof! They did offer a $150 voucher for future work. My problem there is my quote and work order had more work on it then just the fascia??? Just a bad experience that wasted my time and makes them appear unorganized. At least they've identified a training opportunity for their Field "Manager."

Needed some drywall work, painting and installation of baseboard in bathroom. Colin arrived on time, was very polite and professional. After our greetings, he reviewed once more the scope of the job during which time I shared my expectations (i.e., please don't lay tools down on top of toilet seat as it may scratch, etc., he assured me he would be careful and he was! He covered all items in the bathroom he would not be working with to protect them). He knew exactly what needed to be done and did his work while I did mine in my office, which was greatly appreciated. Upon completion, he asked me to inspect it and I was so pleased! Colin's attention to detail was excellent! He had to skim the ceiling to repair some dents/nicks in order to provide a completely smooth surface, and then paint the ceiling -- both jobs well done. He then moved on to replacing a baseboard underneath the vanity and behind the toilet -- also well done...he is a good caulker (which I'm very picky about). He cleaned everything up so the bathroom presented well when I entered it. I am grateful for the quality of Colin's craftmanship and would highly recommend him.

We had a slight hiccup and The Handyman Company sent someone out to have it fixed right away. The operations manager did a great job making an adjustment to the techs schedule to make sure the customer was happy. Thank you for making sure my house’s photo shoot and video came out great with the houses improvements captured.

This is the third time we've used The Handyman Company and each time it has been excellent. Jermaine was our craftsmen today and he helped us with some drywall texturing and reinstalling a towel holder our little ones pulled off the wall. He was early, professional and did excellent work. Great job Jermaine! Thank you to the HC team. Another job well done.

I will say this I will never use this company again. The worker that they did send he was awesome I enjoyed it he did the work that he was therefore. But Jesse on the other hand Is very unprofessional, and likes to charge people for things that they did not even do or say. So my experience with this company very bad they will try to drain you Of your hard work and resources. So warning please do not use this company I have had a bad experience and I’m pretty sure some people had good experiences but on my hand it was not good

I had previously hired The Handyman Company a few years ago to replace drywall and tile floor in the kitchen post-water damage and Benjamin did a great job. Based on this, I called again for someone to finish the tile floor in the master bedroom because our DIY project was taking too long and I needed the project finished. Adam W. came out and did a great job. We ran out of tile towards the end so I told him to use what we had and I'd finish the rest myself after I had a chance to get more tile across town. They were nice enough to call me and set a time to come out and finish the job at no extra cost.

UPDATE: I had my rescheduled appointment for 5 PM today (06/03/20). The nicest gentleman, Chris, came out. Chris was on time, professional, prepared, and was very knowledgeable on what he was doing. I needed help hanging a basic macrame hanging chair from my ceiling, and Chris was in and out in under 40 minutes from the time he stepped into my apartment. (It probably only took that long because I was personally unsure which way I wanted it hung, but it was very speedy!) In addition to this, Chris apologized for the previous appointment mishap, and the recognition in the previous mistake was very admirable! I am very very impressed by the level of professionalism Chris and this company displayed today. Enough so to come back and change my review to 5 stars! As my apartment maintenance is closed due to COVID-19, I will be using the Handyman Company for all my around the house fixes in the future. THANK YOU Chris!!!! ORIGINAL: I made an appointment earlier this week for 3pm on 06/02/20; (as I was told 5pm was too late for them). I left work early to be home to await the handyman at 3. I was told I would receive a call when he was 30 minutes away. By 3:45 I never received a call and no one showed up to the appointment. I called them at 3:46, just for them to tell me he was “held up” at another job and he would not be able to make it to my appointment- but they could reschedule for tomorrow. They never contacted or reached out to me and they probably never would have if I didn’t call. I rescheduled my appointment for tomorrow seeing as I need something fixed that I can’t do myself, so I don’t have many other options, but I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I was basically told “sorry” and to reschedule, with no further reparations. The lady I spoke to today to reschedule was very kind, and likely the only reason I didn’t call another company. I will update my review tomorrow with more updates on how it goes. Please consider compensating your customers for their time, as I lost out on several hours today for your lack of respect for others schedules.

The Handyman Company was quick to send someone out. Their guy came to our house early for our appointment. He was quick to get started once he did our estimate. Even worked in the rain.
